Hatha Yoga and Sound Yoga: a Series
Join me for a series bringing together two yoga practices: classical hatha yoga and the yoga of sound (naad yoga). In each class, I will lead participants through a 1 hour yoga practice and short deep relaxation, followed by a 30 minute sound practice. Naad yoga, including the practices of mantra repetition, concentration on sound, and Kirtan, is one of many yoga practices that supports the participant in connecting to themselves, and deepening their practice of feeling their connectedness to the greater whole. I will share more of the origins of Naad Yoga as a spiritual practice and teach several different chants, and lead participants in both call-and-response Kirtan and in experiences of sharing our voices in harmony.
